The room at Le Lion d'Or was cozy and inviting, making me feel right at home. The private bathroom had all the essentials, and the free toiletries were a nice touch. I loved the flat-screen TV, perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring. The wardrobe was spacious, allowing me to stay organized during my stay.
Personally, I found the lack of a patio in my room a bit disappointing. But hey, that's just me!

Oh my goodness, let me tell you about the rooms at Le Lion d'Or! They were just perfect. I loved how cozy and comfy they felt. The private bathroom was a nice touch, and the free toiletries made me feel pampered. Having a flat-screen TV was a bonus too. And some of the rooms even had a lovely patio! It was so nice to sit out there and enjoy the fresh air. I felt right at home in these rooms, which is exactly what I look for when I travel alone.
If I had to pick one thing I didn't love, it would be the wardrobe in the room. It felt a bit small to me, but hey, that's just my personal opinion.

We had a delightful stay at Le Lion D'Or. the hotel is a charming and interesting stopover between the Mediterranean and the English Channel. the building, with its historical connection to Joan of Arc, has been tastefully converted into a comfortable hotel and restaurant. the friendly staff made us feel welcome, and the off-street parking provided a secure place for our car. We enjoyed a delicious meal outside in the beautiful town, surrounded by flowers. the location was perfect for exploring the mid Loire area, and the reasonable facilities, including en suite and WiFi, added to the convenience. a truly authentic experience of real France.
Couldn't find any faults at all! 😊
